Haemophilia is usually an inherited bleeding disorder in which the blood does not clot properly. This can lead to spontaneous bleeding as well as bleeding following injuries or surgery.
Many patients from around the world with Haemophilia struggle to be treated when they are travelling. The key reason of this is because many people with certain blood types need to be treated but only in certain locations. So the main challenge was to educate customers about where to be treated and how to prepare for certain challenges.

When analysing the current UI I felt that it does not express the calmness and the simplicity that I had hoped to have envisioned when I saw the app. I wanted to take this idea of mobility and I wanted to express a simple way of being treated on the go.
Travelling with Haemophilia can be an experience that can be daunting so I wanted to provide a tool that enhanced the exiting feature that drove activity and educated its users. Whilst looking at the current UI I wanted to make a U turn and I went for a clean look. I also implemented some elegant motions and colourful illustrations.

Designing for change
With over 1,000 hemophilia centers worldwide, tailored medical information for 248 countries, and invaluable checklists and tips, Haemtravel can navigate our journeys with confidence. Before heading out, it's crucial to ensure our personal data, including our diagnosis, treatment details, and emergency contacts, are securely saved.
Users can also take the time to reach out to hemophilia centers along our route or bookmark them for easy access. Detailed country profiles from Egypt to Cyprus provide
essential insights into climate, hygiene, vaccinations, and local news updates. Using an animated checklist, the app can ensure users covered all bases and have the perfect first aid kit on hand.
While on the road, GPS-controlled navigation helps users locate over 1,000 hemophilia centers worldwide, offering peace of mind throughout our journey. In case of an emergency, a single-touch emergency call button provides immediate assistance, while a handy checklist guides us through challenging situations.
