Prolia has helped over 26 million women worldwide manage postmenopausal osteoporosis a condition often invisible until a fracture strikes. Despite its proven clinical strength and over 15 years of FDA approval, the brand's digital presence wasn't keeping pace. As patients increasingly turn online for health guidance, Prolia needed a digital experience that matched the depth of its science and the real, emotional weight of living with bone loss.
Osteoporosis is a long, often silent journey and patients navigating it deserve more than clinical facts. The website was medically thorough but not emotionally resonant. The challenge was to transform a compliance driven pharmaceutical site into an education first digital platform one that closes the gap between evidence and lived experience, builds lasting patient confidence, and gives clinicians sharper tools to support every stage of care.
A new visual language built around warmth and flow teal to green gradients, organic blob shapes, and circular image framing replaced a cold, compliance heavy layout. Navigation was fully restructured around the patient journey: from understanding osteoporosis to managing their health and getting support. A bespoke design system and warm, authentic photography brought humanity to every single touchpoint, across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
